Shipping and Insurance
Elegant Estate Jewelry will make every effort to get your purchases to you when you need them. All shipping and insurance costs (unless otherwise notified) are paid for by the buyer. We ship Monday through Friday and make every effort to ship as soon as possible, generally within three business days.
Orders under $5,000.00 are shipped via USPS Express Mail. Orders over $5,000.00 are shipped via USPS Registered Mail due to postal insurance requirements. Insurance is included in the shipping costs for both methods. USPS Express Mail generally takes about 2 days and USPS Registered Mail takes about 7 days. We only ship within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. The following schedule will be applied to the value of your purchase for Shipping and Insurance.
- $20.00 for purchases $1.00 to $1,999.99, shipped USPS Express Mail
- $35.00 for purchases $2,000.00 to $4,999.99, shipped USPS Express Mail
- $50.00 for purchases $5,000.00 to $9,999.99, shipped USPS Registered Mail
- $100.00 for purchases $10,000.00 and above, shipped USPS Registered Mail
We pack your purchases with great care. In the rare instance that items are lost or damaged in transport please contact us immediately. If damaged, please keep all packing materials.
When items are transported using "Registered Mail" through the U.S. Postal Service, claims are processed through those offices. Elegant Estate Jewelry will assist you in handling your claim and obtaining reimbursement but is not liable for the claim. The U.S. Postal Service or their agents are entirely responsible for the claim.
